Cheyenne Goins was reported missing on August 12 by her family. On Saturday, his remains were discovered in a remote area of Alamosa County in southern Colorado. according to the Denver Post. “The suspect pulled out a firearm and shots were exchanged. The suspect was shot and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, ”states a police press release on Salas’s death, according to KDVR-TV.

Goins family told KDVR-TV Earlier this month, she was last seen at a bar socializing with friends in Alamosa, Colorado, on August 8. Then he stopped communicating. As soon as we found out that she hadn’t been posting anything. We automatically knew something happened, ”her sister, Mandy Goins-Gonzales, told the television channel.
