Some projectile openings were traced to the victim’s front driveway. The projectiles appeared to have been fired from the attic across the hall from the persons in question.
The police agree that the alleged shooter may be inside the skyscraper. An LASD helicopter arrived at La Brea Road to bring more Smack officials to the standoff.

West Hollywood City Council leader Sepi Shyne wrote on Twitter that the shooting could have “occurred at or near the Dylan,” alluding to a nearby apartment building.
The suspect locked himself inside the skyscraper and representatives established a border around the structure, the city leader said.
