Monitor chief investigator Liz Hopkinson said: “Obviously this is an unsettling time for Keano’s family and they are being kept informed of the ongoing screening, as well as supported by knowledgeable officials.”
Hopkinson mentioned that anyone who happened to be in Rosy Vale somewhere between 3:30 and 6:30 BST on Walk 26 or who saw Byrne after he went missing should contact the police.
“We are looking at CCTV, dashcam film, footage, or any records of questionable behavior around that date, as this will get us a little closer to finding out what happened to Keano and help us understand the full conditions,” he said.
Hopkinson said expert groups have been trying to find out what happened to Byrne since he was reported missing. While the exam is still in its early stages, we remain focused on finding out what happened to Keano so her family can get the answers they deserve, she added.
