“We put together the materials with a generally drawn 2D enthusiasm, considering viable 3D development of visionary cats to make a mind-blowing world that feels both grounded and cool all the time,” Hulsing understood. “Untold Studio’s in London did the amazing 3D action of the cats. The gorgeous 2D hype, oil artwork and set-up were entirely completed at Submarine Studios in Amsterdam.”
‘The Sandman’ Star Tom Sturridge Talks Transforming Into DC Comic Character (Exclusive)
Netflix streamed The Sandman on August 5, and the 10-episode series (at the beginning) quickly topped Netflix’s Top 10 TV Shows (English) list for a significant period of time. The long-awaited twist to Gaiman’s beloved comic book series handles the comic book story from the beginning, following Morpheus (Sturridge) as he breaks free from the long confinement of individuals to return to his domain of dreams.
The human representation of the dreams finds that his house has been disorganized by his absence and, in order to restore the demand, he must go through different universes and time courses to fix the misunderstandings he has made during his tremendous presence, returning to the most entrenched companions and adversaries and meet new components, both large and human, along the way.
The series features a stylish cast close to Sturridge including Kirby Howell-Baptize, Gwendoline Christie, Vivienne Acheampong, Stephen Fry, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry, Jenna Coleman, David Thewlis, Joely Richardson, Mason Alexander Park and work by voiced by Patton Oswalt and Mark Hamill.
Fans right now are waiting for news on season 2, but the cast and crew are sure of a resulting segment. Gaiman was coy when ET pitched him and Sandman co-creator Allan Heinberg another season’s icebreaker, but altogether the latter option prompted that the “planning” has been set if the opportunity for another piece arises. .

“We are preparing in case we get close to doing one,” he said. “Cast?”
Added Gaiman: “We would appreciate there being a season 2… right now, I love Sandman, Allan loves Sandman [and] David Goyer loves Sandman. We know that the cast loves Sandman since they saw it. I just ran into Stephen Fry and he told me how much he values the Sandman. Little by little, we really need to check if that applies to the rest of the world and, again, if it’s just us.”
“[This story] It hadn’t been said before on television, so several things had. People understand what sensations of real installations or shows and the like since they have seen them beforehand. They have seen space shows. They haven’t seen Sandman, and the opportunity to really pull off something absolutely new on TV doesn’t come along routinely, and we should get it going,” Gaiman concluded. “Also, we were able to package it ourselves since we didn’t say if someone else would like it to like it, but we knew we were hoping to do something that we valued. Also, as of now, people are watching the episodes, and the response is really overwhelming. Also, I feel like, ‘Okay, great. We made it for ourselves, and they like it too.’”
The Sandman is streaming now on Netflix.
