Seraphina Watts is most famously known as the daughter of the late English drummer Charles “Charlie” Watts. Born March 18, 1968, Seraphina is the only daughter of the late Rolling Stones drummer and his wife Shirley.
Charlie was known for keeping his private life exactly that and was able to keep Seraphina out of the spotlight as a child. It was reported that Seraphina spent some time in a boarding school but allegedly got kicked out due to smoking marijuana a few years after enrollment.
When Seraphina got older, she married a lawyer named Nick and had a child; Charlie’s only grandchild. It was reported that the two parted ways and as of 2017, Ultimate Classic Rock reports that she married Barry Catmur and was residing in a $1.5million farmhouse in Rhode Island.

Originally trained as a graphic artist, he began playing drums in London’s rhythm and blues clubs, where he met Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, and Keith Richards. In January 1963, he joined his fledgling group, the Rolling Stones, as a drummer, while serving as a designer for their album covers and touring stages. Watts, along with Jagger and Richards, were the only band members to appear on all of their studio albums. He cited jazz as a major influence on his drumming style. He toured with his own group, the Charlie Watts Quintet, and appeared in London at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with the Charlie Watts Tentet.
In 2006, Watts was elected into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame; In the same year, Vanity Fair elected him into the Hall of Fame from the international best-dressed list. In the opinion of the famous music critic Robert Christgau, Watts was “the best drummer in rock.” In 2016, he was ranked 12th on Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” list.

Charlie Watts Cause of Death
Rolling Stones drummer, Charlie Watts, who provided the backbone to the band’s songs for more than half a century, has passed away. He was 80 years old. According to reports, Watts died on Tuesday, August 24 in London, surrounded by his family.
Announcing the news of Charlie Watts’ demise, publicist Bernard Doherty said in a statement, “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts. He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family.
Charlie was a cherished husband, father and grandfather and also as a member of The Rolling Stones one of the greatest drummers of his generation.” He added, “We kindly request that the privacy of his family, band members and close friends is respected at this difficult time.” We have witnessed the demise of several great music icons recently. Dusty Hill, Biz Markie, Sound Sultan, Robert Eugene Steinhardt are to name a few.
