Paul Marcum Wiki – Paul Marcum Biography
Paul Marcum used to work at the Sports Club every fall, but he won’t be back, the owner tells the Metro Times. Marcum’s biography was pulled from the company website and an employee confirmed to Deadline Detroit that he no longer works there.
Marcum threw the salute during a heated debate on Aug. 17 at Groves High School about mandatory masks in the classroom. The parents without masks took the podium to voice their objections to the masks, while the masked parents told board members that they favored them.
The disturbing incident prompted district administrators to tell parents via email the next day: “Last night, at our regular Board of Education meeting, a member of the audience gestured and delivered a Nazi salute after an individual made a public comment. ”

Paul Marcum Fired for ‘Heil Hitler’ at mask meet
On Monday, Marcum of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, was fired from his job as a tennis instructor at the West Bloomfield Sports Club. He worked at the West Bloomfield Sports Club each fall, but the owner of the establishment contacted the Metro Times to confirm his firing. Marcum also owns Paul Marcum’s Tennis Service LLC.
Following the meeting, Birmingham Public Schools Superintendent Embekka Roberson issued a statement to the Metro Times on behalf of the school district. “The Birmingham Public Schools strongly denounces and will not tolerate any act of racism, disrespect, violence and / or unfair treatment of any person, including actions and statements made at Board of Education meetings,” said Roberson. “It is in situations where people feel strongly about an issue and emotions are intense that we most need to model appropriate behaviors for our students,” continued Roberson. “Last night’s meeting did not consistently display the behaviors we expect from our students and community.”
The August 18 school meeting was quite chaotic, as anti-maskers booed and yelled insults at board members and speakers who showed their support for masks and face covers for the 2021-2022 school year.
Many anti-mask maskers also reportedly told board members that masks are dangerous and that children are not at risk of spreading Covid. One of those mothers was Nicole Humphrey, who allegedly told the school board that she would remove her daughter from the school district because she does not want her daughter to be subjected to the possible mandate.

“Hearing that the only way you can attend learning in person is by wearing a mask is inconceivable,” she told the board. “It’s not going to happen. It’s like asking us to knowingly send her to a place that’s abusing her and saying, ‘Oh well.’
Another parent reportedly told the school board that “God did not intend for us to wear masks” and that the children should be untied. “Our children will never see the freedoms we enjoy growing up,” he said. “They don’t even have the freedom to breathe fresh air. If God wanted us to cover our mouths and noses, He would have made us that way.”
On social media, many applaud the fact that he was fired. “I hope this follows Paul Marcum, wherever he goes,” wrote one user. Another added: “Paul Marcum of Bloomfield Hills, ladies, and gentlemen. A Nazi. Find another tennis coach.” Another user wrote: “I am constantly amazed at how people, to this day, gleefully make hateful and racist tirades on total strangers’ phone cameras. Despite the FACT that it ends this way every damn time That is a certain sense of entitlement. ”
And some users broke it down for him. “Everyone will know who #PaulMarcum is in a bad way. Anti-Semitism kills. Wearing masks in a pandemic is not authoritarianism, it is mitigation against an airborne virus that replicates like crazy.”
