It was his greatest honor to represent his people on screen and serving them off-screen. Meeting him was feeling seen, loved, safe and welcome. As an icon of Hawai’i, our islands and its people mourn his loss. ”
Harrington also made appearances on much other television shows over the years, including Magnum, P.I .; Scrubs; and The Byrds of Paradise. In 2018, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts.
