Rebecca Grossman the former publisher of Westlake Magazine, was arrested after her white Mercedes struck Mark Iskander, 11, and his 9-year-old brother, Jacob, at a crosswalk in Westlake Village around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, CBS Los Angeles said.
“Preliminary information indicates two juveniles were struck by a motorist while crossing the street,” the LA County Sheriff’s Department said on Facebook. “One juvenile was pronounced dead on scene; the second juvenile was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a few hours later.”
Grossman is the co-founder and chair of the Grossman Burn Foundation. She is additionally prime supporter and administrator of the Grossman Burn Foundation. She is the previous publisher of Westlake Magazine.

Grossman Kills 2 Brothers in Los Angeles Crash
The accident happened at about 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at the convergence of Triunfo Canyon Road and Saddle Mountain Drive. Grossman hit two young boys with Mercedes into killing both in front of their parents in Los Angeles, according to authorities there.

The boys were with six family members, including their parents, when they crossed the three-way intersection, the outlet said. Their mother heard the speeding car racing toward them and tried to pull the children back, but wasn’t able to, the station said.
The boys were Mark Iskander, 11, and his 9-year-old brother, Jacob, as CBS Los Angeles said.
Mark Iskander died at the scene and his brother at the hospital, NBC News in LA reported.

Arrested and Charged
Rebecca was arrested according to CBS Los Angeles said. She was arraigned on two counts of vehicular manslaughter and ordered held on $2 million bails, the sheriff said.
She was released on bail shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday, NBC said.
