Who is Paul Jennings and Sasithon? Wiki, Biography, Age, Family, Attacked by Animal, Facts

Paul Jennings sprang into action after the animal, which had escaped its owner, mauled his wife Sasithon and their Beagle Cody while out walking in Kingston-Upon-Thames on April 8. A professional dog walker heroically wrestled an out-of-control German Shepherd to the ground after he savagely attacked his wife and his dog.

CCTV footage shows Paul dramatically wrestling with the beast and holding it down until his owner arrives after he bit Sasithon as she tried to protect Cody during the frenzied attack. Sasithon was later taken to A&E by ambulance with a calf injury, and she says she dreads to think what the consequences would have been if the animal had attacked a baby or child.

The couple, who say they don’t want the animal’s owner, who fled after the attack, to face charges, have so far been unable to locate her or the dog, much to Paul’s frustration. He told the Mirror: “We don’t think he should face criminal charges, but people who have powerful dogs must have some training or they should have some kind of license.”

She added that the owner did not have a harness with the dog, which was the “minimum minimum” for dogs unless they were well trained. Sasithon told the publication that she instinctively put herself in danger to protect Cody because she didn’t want to get bitten.

“I knew it bit my leg, but I didn’t know it was that bad until the ambulance came and they looked at my wound,” she said. “I think if my leg was a baby or a child it would have been a lot worse. I don’t want this to happen to a child or anyone else.

Paul made an appeal on Facebook and has been notified of three sightings of the woman and her dog, with some reporting the dog was muzzled. He said he was scared for Cody and only realized he was fighting the attacking dog when he saw the CCTV footage.

The dog’s owner hasn’t turned up, nor has anyone who knows her. A police spokesperson told the Mirror: “Police are investigating an incident in which a dog bit a woman in Kingston on the night of April 8. ‘The investigations continue. There has been no arrest.
