Father of two, Jason Liversidge, who has lived with the degenerative condition for 10 years, climbed Snowdon Mountain after being diagnosed and became known as a daredevil for his love of adrenaline-inducing endeavors. Among them was the Guinness World Record he achieved in 2020 after being the fastest person in a custom-built wheelchair. Jason of Rise in East Yorkshire hit a top speed of almost 67mph using his head-controlled chair during the record attempt (beating the previous record of 62mph). In recent years he has also climbed Snowdon Mountain in a wheelchair and roped off the Humber Bridge in Hull. In 2015, Nick Knowles and the DIY SOS team transformed his home into an accessible family home at The Big Build.
