Kicked air marshal, threatened to ‘stab everyone’ on United flight

A drunken North Carolina woman assaulted a federal air marshal aboard a United Airlines flight from Frankfurt to Virginia – after she threatened to “stab everyone on the plane” and then commit suicide, according to the feds.

After returning to hear seat, a bawling Mustafa told the crew as she reeked from alcohol that she was flying home to see her family — falsely claiming they had just been killed in a car crash caused by a drunken driver, according to a criminal complaint.

She then punched the TV screen in front of her seat and flung a coin at the bulkhead, prosecutors said.

Mustafa later headed for the lavatory again while striking the flint of her lighter before pushing away flight attendants who tried to block her, according to court papers.

When two air marshals tried to cuff the unhinged woman, she repeatedly kicked one of them in the shins, papers say, but she was eventually restrained and seated next to the law enforcement agents.

“I was allowed to drink my duty-free bottle of vodka on my previous flight,” she claimed.

When arrested by the FBI after landing, Mustafa admitted that she had concocted the story about her family being wiped out by the drunken motorist.

She was charged with assaulting a federal officer and made her first appearance in Alexandria, Virginia, federal court, on Monday afternoon. She faces a maximum sentence of eight years behind bars if convicted.

Mustafa, who did not comment or enter a plea, is due in court again on Tuesday, according to NBC Washington.

“What’s the point of living?” she was recorded as saying, the Washington Post reported.
