Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown Wiki – Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown Biography
Authorities say that when they arrived at Lowe’s in Maryland to investigate a robbery, they learned that a man had stolen a forklift, drove it to a nearby Home Depot, and ran over a woman who had been sleeping in her car.
Charles County deputies say 20-year-old Bryce Caleb Timothy Brown broke into a Lowe’s Home Improvement store in the Waldorf community, about 60 miles south of Baltimore, and stole a forklift. He allegedly entered the Home Depot parking lot at Jefferson Farm Place, less than a mile away. For “reasons unknown,” deputies say, Brown crashed the forklift into a parked vehicle in the parking lot.
The thief used a stolen forklift to murder Women
Gloristine Pinkney, 73, had been sleeping inside that vehicle, which was her car, agents said. She got out to flee on foot, but authorities say Brown caught up with her and ran her over with the forklift. The 20-year-old allegedly stole the elderly woman’s vehicle and fled the scene.
Authorities said they responded Sunday at 12:40 a.m. to an ongoing robbery and theft at Lowe’s. They investigated and saw the forklift in the Home Depot parking lot, authorities said. They found Pinkney under the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators did not immediately suggest a motive. They simply said that Brown and Pinkney are strangers to each other, or as they put it, “don’t know each other.” Both were described as Waldorf.
“After following up on leads, detectives were able to positively identify Brown as the suspect,” they wrote. He was arrested Sunday night, they said.
Pinkney’s car was found near Brown’s home, they said. The charges include first-degree murder, second-degree murder, assault, and robbery. Brown is currently being held without bail at the Charles County Detention Center.
