Aquellio Parker has been arrested in the gruesome death of a woman found crammed into a barrel. As previously reported by CrimeOnline, Nicole Flanagan, 42, was found dead, without clothes, on August 13 in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. His remains had been placed in a 55-gallon plastic barrel and investigators reportedly believe that he died elsewhere.
As the New York Post reports, Investigators said there were no signs of trauma to Flanagan’s body, and his cause of death is pending toxicology results. Police have not yet said whether they believe there was a dirty act.

As previously reported, Flanagan is originally from Greenwich, Connecticut; his last known address is in the Bronx. Flanagan leaves behind three children. It is believed that she worked as a high-level sex worker; although his estranged brother told Greenwich Time that he was not aware of this. An NYPD spokesperson told Greenwich Time that Flanagan was last seen in a luxury apartment building in Lower Manhattan on August 6.
He had also checked into a hotel in the same area on August 4. According to the New York Post, Drugs and a nearly empty bottle of alcohol were found in the room, along with some items of clothing., after Flanagan reportedly left the hotel without formally checking out.
Police have since identified and arrested a man seen in surveillance video footage removing a barrel from that building or a nearby building on Aug. 12, the day before Flanagan’s body was found. In the footage, he was reportedly seen loading the barrel onto a U-Haul truck.
According to the New York Post, Aquellio Parker, 29, turned himself in to police on Sunday. Parker allegedly brought the plastic barrel to a building at 95 Wall Street. Surveillance video footage also reportedly captured a second man who parked the U-Haul at the building’s service entrance. That man has not yet been publicly identified.

The New York Post reports that Parker was charged with being an accessory to disturbing, moving, and/or concealing human remains, being an accessory to desecrating and damaging and/or destroying human remains, and conspiring with a co-defendant to disturb, move, conceal and/or desecrate a deceased body.
Authorities have not identified any other suspects.
Aquellio is charged with helping move the remains of Nicole Flanagan, 44, to the residential neighborhood of Ridgefield Park, where her body was found Aug. 13 inside a 55-gallon drum, according to the Office of the Comptroller. Bergen County Attorney. .
There were no signs of injury in Flanagan, of Queens, and authorities are still awaiting the results of toxicology tests. Parker turned himself in to NYPD on Sunday and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey, authorities said.
Before Flanagan’s remains were discovered, she had been last seen alive on Aug. 6 inside a financial district apartment building, riding an elevator with a 25-year-old gang member to the 22nd floor, law enforcement sources said.
