Anna-May Robey will appear on the winter edition of the Love Island dating show, which starts on Monday 16th January 2023. The 20-year-old is from Swansea, Wales, and says she is very talkative and is looking for someone make her laugh
Anna-May Robey will appear with nine other ‘islanders’ who will team up to compete with other contestants to forge relationships and find love. The show will also debut its new host this season, popular TV and radio host Maya Jama, who will replace previous Love Island host Laura Whitmore.

Swansea native Anna-May Robey, who works as a payroll administrator, describes herself as a spirited talker.
Anna-May Robey looks a lot like Gemma Owen, a contestant on Love Island season eight and made it all the way to the finale. The latter got second place with a 23-year-old partner, Luca Bish, also known as the fishmonger. However, the two broke up in November 2022.
A report in The Sun reveals that Anna-May Robey has caught the eye of the fishmonger. It remains to be seen what happens with this interesting development in the near future.
Explaining the reason why she joined the show, she said that since she has been single for some time, her mother has been “puzzling” her to find a boyfriend. Noting that she is excited to try something new, Ella Robey said that she thinks the show is a good way to meet someone.
The 20-year-old wants to bring fun to the village and says that if someone asks her to jump into a pool, she would do it as she is always up for a joke. She added:
“I’ll infuse the village with vitality and make everyone play. Also, I’m not afraid of obstructing others; if I admire someone, I’ll let them know.”
Anna-May Robey has said that she is full of energy and that she “she’s always running around singing and screaming”. As she explains what her family thinks of her bubbly nature, Anna states that her parents constantly tell her to shut up.
She said that since she works from home all day, she barely talks to people in person two or three days a week. So she says:
“When my dad gets home, he’s going to want to sit back and relax, and I’m right there nibbling his ear! He’d definitely say I’m a chatterbox.”
Anna-May Robey detailed a past date that she will not attempt to replicate. She said that she and her date went out to buy some food and shared a bottle of wine. However, things didn’t work out as her date fell asleep while she was talking to him and Anna-May had to clink her wine glass to get her to wake up.
About which she gives Anna-May “gross”, she says that she doesn’t like people who like to show off or who are materialistic.

Love Island will feature this year’s 10 singles moving into a brand new villa in South Africa. The beautiful villa is situated in the Franschhoek Winelands, near Cape Town.
The Love Island candidates are in for a wild ride, especially with a new rule prohibiting them from using their social media accounts while on the show. That’s not all though, as the show’s creators added a new twist before the show’s premiere.
For the first time in the show’s history, viewers will vote on the first bomb to enter the village. The two new bombshells to enter are business executive Ellie and Tom, a footballer from Barnsley.
Voting is available via the Love Island app, which will end on Friday, January 13 at 9pm, with the bombshell with the most votes allowed to enter the village.
