Viviane Obenauf is a Brazilian professional boxer. She has challenged three times for world titles; the IBO female lightweight title in 2017; the IBF female super featherweight title in 2018; and the IBO female super featherweight title in 2019.
In her eleventh fight, with a record of 9–1 (2 KO), she faced former Olympic gold medalist Katie Taylor on 10 December 2016 at the Manchester Arena, Manchester, in Taylor’s second professional bout. The fight was televised live on Sky Sports Box Office as part of the undercard for the Anthony Joshua vs.

Her next fight came on 25 March 2017, against Maja Milenkovic at the Congress Center in Interlaken, Switzerland. Obenauf won the fight with an eighth round technical knockout (TKO) to capture the vacant WBF International female lightweight title.
Three months later, she fought undefeated former WBO interim super featherweight champion Ewa Brodnicka on 24 June 2017, at the Ergo Arena in Gdańsk, Poland. Obenauf suffered the third defeat of her career, losing via split decision over ten rounds, with two judges scoring the bout 96–93 and 95–94 in favour of Brodnicka while the third scored it 95–94 to Obenauf.

Obenauf and his wife got married in January of this year, and the former boxer and someone’s mother have often posted pictures of the family on social media. “I knew them both very well and death shocked me,” said one of his friends who attended the wedding. “I was a bit skeptical about [their marriage] but when I got to know [her], I knew she was” this man “. Arrested and Charges
According to the Police, Viviane Obenauf, a former professional boxer, was arrested and suspected of beating her husband to death. The 34-year-old Brazilian-born boxer was arrested this week in Switzerland and was considered the “main suspect” in her husband’s murder, Bloody Elbow reports.
RT reported that Obenauf’s husband, whose name was not disclosed but referred to by prosecutors as “Thomas”, was beaten to death on 19 October. The outlet wrote that the seven-week investigation had searched the couple’s apartment and Obenauf’s gym. Obenauf’s 61-year-old husband was found dead in the couple’s home in the Swiss town of Interlaken, in the southeast of Bern, as a result of “severe wounds” as a result of “constant violent assault”.

According to Swiss police, RT wrote that Obenauf’s husband was killed “after being seriously injured” by a blunt object. Blick reported that Obenauf had previously been arrested for an assault, after punching him in the face of a man he said was trying to stroke him at a London nightclub. Obenauf spent several hours in prison after the incident in October 2016.
One of Obenauf’s ex-boyfriends also spoke to the outlet about the Brazilian super-furry boxer and said: “He always had two faces. It’s like tapping a button.”
He said the two had dated a while ago before getting jealous of one of their friendships and punching him in the face several times. At that time, he said he tried to report him, but eventually withdrew his complaint because he said that his mother had just passed away and that “he is no longer able to fight this legal battle.”

Obenauf was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and began his athletic career as a footballer and gymnast, and became an Olympic-level gymnast before boxing at age 18, Daily Star reports. Bloody Elbow wrote that Obenauf had a professional boxing match on April 21, 2014, won that match and went 6-0 in their first fight. His first defeat came in 2016, after which he won three more fights.
He then lost his first championship by points against former Olympic champion and undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor. He then fought Maja Milenkovic for the vacant WBF International lightweight title and won in 2017. He was then 4-4 before retiring with 14 wins and 6 losses last year.
He lived in Switzerland, where he opened a gym after his retirement. Obenauf’s husband owns the Des Alpes restaurant in Interlaken, which has been closed since his death. According to the Daily Star, managers did not decide whether and when to reopen, and staff were authorized. “It was easy for him to get along with, and he worked passionately … And he’s not there anymore. It shocked everyone,” said one of the restaurant owner’s friends.
