Colin Egglesfield, born February 9, 1973 in Dearborn, Michigan, is an American actor.

Childhood

He is the second child of William and Katleen Egglesfield. He has an older sister named Kerry and a younger brother named Sean. He grew up in a Catholic family.

Colin graduated from Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights and then earned a biology degree from the University of Iowa.
To earn some money for medical school, a friend convinced him to enter a modeling competition, which he won.

Career

After this competition, Colin went on to appear in commercials and fashion shows for Versace, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and then in small roles in various series such as: Law & Order: Special Unit , Gilmore Girl , Nip/Tuck , Charmed . He then obtained a recurring role in the soap opera All My Children.

In 2009 he landed a lead role as Auggie Kirkpatrick in the series Melrose Place 2.0.
The series was canceled after one season, and he returned to guest appearances on Hawaii 5.0 and Brothers & Sisters , before being cast in the lead role in the 2011 film Something Borrowed alongside Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin.

In 2012, he landed a role in the series The Client List , with Jennifer Love Hewitt, which he played for 2 seasons.

Then we could see him in the series Rizzoli & Isles, as Tommy Rizzoli, brother of one of the two heroines played by Angie Harmon.
