Nightclub owner Driller Jet Armstrong wrote on Facebook that Bell was “a true pioneer.” “Tested and trusted, from the Toucan club to Sugar and everything in between,” he said. Deb Edwards, a former EMI and Sony record clerk, said “There will only be one Ian Bell”. “Blessed I was to have him in between my DJ meetings…I was always looking forward to hearing and seeing new music,” she posted on social media.
