An upcoming episode of Dead Quiet on ID is set to return to her virtual entertainment partner Kirk Levin’s seizure of Jessica Vega and the latter’s other misdeeds. The episode, called The Delinquent and the Holy Person, airs this Friday, April 7 at 7 p.m. ET.

Kirk Levin, of Right on Time, Iowa, was captured on January 3, 2013 and accused of killing the mother of his daughter, Marilyn Schmitt, and kidnapping a lady named Jessica Vega from her Tempest Lake condo shortly after escape from Mount Wonderful Jail on New Year’s Day in after serving 26 months of a 5-year prison term on a third-degree robbery charge.

Specialists were first called on Jan. 3 after 21-year-old Jessica Vega reported Levin for attacking and kidnapping her after showing up at her condo and requesting a ride toward dawn that day. She had the option of running away and seeking help from a passerby. Levin was tracked down hiding in an adjoining horse shelter and charged with trespassing, assault and other related charges.

In the course of their investigation into the capture and other related charges, specialists found the severely severed body of Levin’s mother, Marilyn Schmitt, in a room higher up in her home at 2242 Ira Road ahead of schedule. Schmitt’s death was ruled a crime after pivotal exam results showed she suffered 88 stab wounds from a kitchen knife.

Reports state that Levin injured Schmitt between 1:30 and 5:45 am on January 3, 2013, later acknowledging that “to the police he was the one who in particular could have killed the person in question.” He allegedly admitted that he “gagged her mother and that he should have killed her.”

At Kirk Levin’s preliminary hearing, Jessica Vega, the Tempest Lake lady he had deceptively kidnapped, gave a statement about how she figured out how to escape his grasp. Levin chose not to say, and his defense did not call observers, but he was aware that the state failed to expose that Marilyn’s murder was planned.

However, Iowa’s chief legal representative maintained that the 45-year-old woman “did not inadvertently fall on a blade and cut herself and inadvertently drown,” and demanded that it was a planned demonstration.

Ultimately, Levin was deemed to be actually at fault for the first degree murder at a time when the mother died and grabbed Jessica Vega in the third degree. He was sentenced to life in prison and forced to pay $150,000 to Schmitt’s beneficiaries. He also received a 10-year prison term on the forfeiture charges and is currently serving a life sentence in Iowa State Prison.
