Well-known radio personality Jeffrey Vandergrift recently died at the age of 55. He had been missing since February 2023 and was found dead on Walk 22, 2023. Vandergrift was a notable face on WiLD 94.9, and the radio broadcast shared his misery on Twitter, where they composed:

“It is with overwhelming sadness that we must affirm that the body found near Pier 39 on Wednesday night has been recognized as our dear companion, relative and JV partner. We are crushed to now know that JV is no more. Kindly keep his partner Natasha, his family and dear companions of his in your views and pleas ”.

While his body was being found, public data officer Niccole Pacchetti issued a proclamation to people, saying they responded to Pier 39 regarding a person tracked in the water at around 4:56 p.m. He added:

Jeffrey Vandergrift has been missing since February 25, 2023. The San Francisco Police Division shared a post on Facebook saying that Jeffrey was last seen on February 23 at his home in the 200 block of Lord Road around 10 p.m.

The Facebook post included a picture of Jeffrey along with the niceties that he hasn’t been seen for quite some time. The post closed by stating:

“Anyone who finds Mr. Vangergrift is asked to call 911 and report his current location and true description. Anyone with information on her possible whereabouts is asked to call the SFPD tip line at 1-415-575-4444 or text TIP411 and initiate the instant message with the SFPD. You could still be mysterious.

WiLD 94.9 also relayed Vandergift’s missing report to his audience members, saying they were helping SFPD and his partner Natasha locate him. The radio broadcast later revealed on Paseo 19 that there was no movement of cell phones, and that his credit and bank cards were lethargic. They added:

Jeffrey Vandergrift was a radio personality based in the Inlet Region, San Francisco. He began his vocation during the 1990s and earned respect as the host of The JV Show, which aired from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Along with Dan “Elvis” Lay and Spear “Hollywood” Otani, he co-hosted the Doghouse show on WiLD 94.9. As of 2006, he was married to Natasha Yi, an artist, model, and stunt performer. Yi has worked with various organizations before, including Pepsi, Sony, Focus on, Mcdonald’s and others.

Jeffrey was determined to have Lyme disease in 202, and before he disappeared, he spoke of something very similar to his audience members, saying:

“The things I’ve been going through in my brain that they’re trying to figure out. Yuck. The body and the aggravation and everything, I can deal with it. How my mind is treating I would never describe to you.” Jeffrey’s last Instagram post was shared quite some time ago in August 2022. The inscription was changed seven days before it disappeared.
