Ync Capo, Young rapper who was touted by the rap community as the next big thing, has reportedly died. The news of his death emerged on Sunday, August 15, when several friends took to social networks to confirm that the rumors of Capo’s death were true. As soon as the news was confirmed, fans and friends of the rapper posted heartbroken tweets and paid tribute, celebrating how Capo was on his way to “millions.” However, one particular fan on Twitter alluded to online speculation that Capo was killed due to a fight over a car.
News of Capo’s death came just a day after Zion I hip hop star MC Zumbi died of unknown causes at Alta Bates Hospital in the early hours of Friday, August 13. Another rapper identified as YNT Juan was also shot and killed in his car in Connecticut. The incident sent social media into an apparent frenzy over how gun violence should be stopped. The ambush shooting of rapper ‘KTS Dre’ after he was released from jail also left the nation in shock as reports revealed that he received about ’64 shots’ after leaving. In Capo’s case, although he was allegedly shot too, the exact details of how he died have yet to be revealed.

Capo, whose stage name Ync stands for Youngest ‘n Charge, had created his YouTube channel in 2017. When Capo released his song’ Feeling Like Kavo ‘two years later in 2019, it was an immediate hit with the masses. The video for the song has ultimately racked up more than eight million views to date, making it one of their most popular tracks as well. Capo was also known for videos like ‘Normal Life’ and ‘Life So Sweet’, with some videos also racking up over 100,000 views.

Capo was shot over the car
While it’s unclear if Capo was working on new music recently, his closest friends in the hip-hop community have paid heartbroken tributes to a talent who left too soon. Musician Big Waoh shared Capo photos on his Instagram stories and wrote: “RIP Capo. You were on your way to millions. God to you, friend. “Big Waoh also shared screenshots from his latest chats and from Capo, showing the close bond between him and the late rapper.
Up-and-coming social media personalities and artists like Lil Muney, Lil Zay, and Rich Baby were also among those who paid tribute to Capo. His death, although it came as a massive shock to fans due to its untimely nature, was met with a swift response from them as soon as confirmation arrived. “Ync capo passed away … damn man, lil bruh it was difficult,” wrote one fan. Another wrote: “ync capo was really one of my favorite artists to come out of Memphis in the last decade and it hurts so much that he’s about to receive more love than ever now that he’s gone.”

Others could not believe the reports that Capo allegedly died after being shot. Claiming that the shooting was due to an alleged car debacle, one fan wrote: “RIP YNC Capo! I’m sorry, lowlife babe [N-word] He took your life for a damn car … I was listening to your music last week.
