Yery Noel Medina Ulloa Wiki – Yery Noel Medina Ulloa Biography

Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, 24, pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence in Duval County court in the brutal October 7 stabbing death of Francisco Javier Cuellar in Jacksonville. Cuellar, 46, had taken in Ulloa, who had entered the country illegally in Texas months earlier claiming he was a 17-year-old named Reynel Alexander Hernández, The Post reported.

According to Jacksonville police, Ulloa was found wandering covered in blood when police found him after the stabbing. Police said Ulloa was talking on a cell phone when officers arrived. “Another witness responded to the scene and told detectives that he had received a call from the suspect saying that he killed the victim because he ‘hit’ him,” according to an arrest report filed in the case.

Florida Governor DeSantis says a man accused of murder in Jacksonville was dumped here by the Biden administration. He made the comments during a press conference Thursday at Cecil Airport. The man DeSantis referenced, 24-year-old Yery Noel Medina Ulloa, was found walking through Jacksonville covered in blood last month. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says he initially lied about his name and age.

Since then, he has been charged with second degree murder and tampering with evidence. “There was a report in The New York Post about … the Biden administration is doing there, they are transporting people who arrived illegally, dumping a lot in Jacksonville in the middle of the night,” DeSantis said. “… this individual (Medina Ulloa) has been detained, he should never have been in this country to begin with, and he definitely should not have been dumped into the state of Florida.”

He says these ‘flights in the middle of the night’ are happening without notification to the state, and that the Biden administration is hiring private contractors to bring undocumented people here. The New York Post article, referenced by DeSantis, claims that the plan is part of President Biden’s plan to quietly resettle minor migrants across the country.

“This is not the way to keep people safe, it is reckless and wrong,” DeSantis said. “… I’ll see what we can do from the executive, we have, of course, a pending lawsuit against the administration challenging their catch and release policies. But this is what happens when it engages in reckless policies.”

At his arraignment hearing on Thursday, Medina Ulloa pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence, through an interpreter. The state is now seeking a grand jury indictment for first-degree murder. Medina Ulloa’s next pre-trial hearing is scheduled for November 30.

DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw sent an email to local media after the press conference stating that Yery Noel Medina Ulloa is not related to the man she allegedly killed, despite claiming it was his uncle. “That was another misrepresentation that fits with Medina Ulloa’s reported pattern of making false statements,” she said in an email.
