How did Sabine Musil-Buehler die? Sabine Musil-Buehler was a German local who moved to the United States when she was thirty years old. She loved the creatures and protected many wanderers during her life. The 49-year-old had been married to Tom Buehler for almost 15 years and together they worked at an inn on Anna Maria Island. Although some were not together at the time of the events, they remained as dear companions and colleagues.

In November 2008, Sabine had been dating William Cumber for a couple of months and they were respectively living in a condominium. She was last seen alive on November 4. At the time, William claimed that Sabine left his condo sometime between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm after a dispute. Unfortunately, the frenzied adventures led nowhere until October 2015, when new information led police to Holmes Beach, Florida.

Sabine’s skeletal remains were seen covered in a shallow grave nearly a square from the inn she owned. Dental records were used to distinguish the remaining parts, and a post-mortem examination revealed an astonishing image. Sabine had seven broken ribs, a crushed sternum and possibly her hands were limited by ligatures. By this time, specialists realized that she had been beaten and suffocated to death.

He had a past full of car theft and claimed he got the car from a nearby salon parking lot. At the time, Robert expressed that he had never met Sabine. William Cumber was someone who was closely scrutinized by the police during the underlying stages. He had been released from jail in September 2008 after being found guilty of burning down the house of his ex. At the time of Sabine’s disappearance, he was 39 years old and living with her in a rented loft. He had been working as a jack of all trades at the inn at the time. At the time, they had both been drinking from her, and William confessed that he completely let go of her and hit her on the head before hitting her on the head.

I came to myself, grabbed her throat and started to suffocate her.” Once Sabine died, William feared that he would be sent back to jail, so he decided to dispose of her body. After wrapping him in a sheet, William put Sabine in the side room of his car, grabbed a digging tool from the inn, and drove not far to where he covered his girlfriend. Then, at that time, he confessed to getting rid of Sabine’s phone and SIM card.

Where could William Cumber be now? In October 2015, William Cumber pleaded no contest to second-degree murder and was eventually sentenced to 20 years in jail. In a later meeting, he admitted to covering up the body near the inn to draw doubts towards Tom and away from him. Jail records show that William remains in custody at the South Florida Reception Center in Doral, Miami-Dade County. He will be qualified for discharge in November 2030.
