Bill Jeffrey was a “great man, a great officer … a great family man.” His wife, Susanne Jeffrey, is a former Houston police officer who retired in December 2020. She is also survived by a son, authorities said. Jeffrey had worked as part of the Major Offenders Division for 13 years, Houston Police said.
