Barajas is on life support in a hospital. Investigators say the two had gone to see the movie together. However, they have not revealed a possible motive for the shooting and detectives are still trying to identify a potential shooter or shooters.
Police report
Authorities said the two attended the movie together. However, it was not immediately clear who else was in the theater with them, although records show that a total of six tickets were purchased for that performance.
“We don’t have any suspicious information at this time,” Kouroubacalis said. “We have no information that would lead us to believe that there is an active threat to our community or any surrounding community at this time.”
