Wayne Swinny, the guitarist for Spit, died today at the age of 59 from a brain leak. The band’s manager, vocalist Bobby Amaru, and other general associates claimed his passing. After the departure of singer Josey Scott in 2011 and bassist Dave Novotny in 2015, Swinny was the only lasting person from Spit’s original arrangement.

The Spit music team was formed in Memphis, Tennessee in 1996. After the departure of artist Josey Scott in 2011 and bassist Dave Novotny in 2015, Swinny was the only lasting person from Spit’s original setup. In any case, Josey Scott joined the band for a show at Blue Edge Rock Celebration the previous September.

The following year, Spit distributed its eponymous debut collection. They then followed that up with collections Like Clockwork and Back into Your Framework, the latter of which featured Consistently, perhaps his best-known song, which peaked at number one on the Advanced Stone Graph.
