At the three-minute mark of his live broadcast on January 30, Atrioc provided details about the situation, during which he admitted to watching fake streamer videos. He stated:
“Everyone here probably knows what’s going on. I mean, first of all, it’s true. It’s 100% true. I watched a deep fake p**n video… of streamers. It’s disgusting. It really is disgusting. It’s wrong .Sorry, I didn’t sleep all night. So I just…”
Atrioc expressed shame at the circumstances and said that he was angry with himself:
“I guess what I mean is… so I’m already deeply, deeply ashamed about this. I’m deeply ashamed. I’m mad at myself. I feel fucking… I feel so fucking stupid.”
Before issuing an apology, the former Twitch executive wanted to discuss the facts on the matter, claiming that the r/LivestreamFail subreddit went “too far.” He stated:
“I did a lot on stream, like creating a pattern of behavior where I really want, especially women on Twitch, to feel more confident. Like, we call the f*cking b**ba spam cringe. We don’t do that there. I’ve never done a fucking weird, I don’t know, seat-sniffing prank. I’ve never done anything like that. I’ve never done anything like that on stream. And we don’t tolerate any behavior in chat. We ban it on sight, and I’ve done it constantly. Over and over and over again.”

The streamer claimed to have clicked on an ad that took him to the fake website:
“But I was on p**king p**nhub. I was on a normal, normal fucking website, and there was an ad. There was one on every f***! I know other people must be clicking on it because it’s in all the fucking videos! **king in this fucking rabbit hole, and at 2am I was fucking… I don’t know, I got kinky curious and clicked something.”
Atrioc concluded with an apology, saying:
“It’s disgusting and I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. I’m really sorry.” The community reacts to the streamer’s apology.
