Trevor Jones, a contestant on Millionaire matchmaker which also appeared on CNBC The profit, has died at age 34, according to his friend and business partner Travis Lubinsky. Lubinsky said Jones died Oct. 9, “from a sudden event of Ehlers Danlos Vascular Syndrome.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a group of inherited disorders that affect connective tissues, primarily the skin, joints, and blood vessel walls … People with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome they tend to have too flexible joints and elastic and fragile skin … “Vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, according to the clinic,” can cause the walls of the blood vessels, the intestines or the uterus to break.

Jones and Lubinsky were partners in a company called Flex watches, which appeared in The profit. One of the main purposes of his company is to raise money for charitable causes, an effort inspired in part by the death of Jones’s mother. The money is raised through watches branded to the cause, with a portion of the proceeds going to a related non-profit organization. Between achievements 45,000 meals were served from that effort to needy children.
Jones is survived by his wife Cherrie, his father Chris, his sister Kaitlin and their six-month-old daughter, Finley. He and Cherrie were married in April 2018 and Finley was born in March 2021, according to Lubinsky, who posted a video of Jones and Finley on Twitter today.

A family friend told TMZ that Trevor Jones died on October 9 of a “sudden event of Ehlers Danlos Vascular Syndrome.” The disorder weakens connective tissue and can lead to spontaneous rupture of major blood vessels. Trevor was best known for appearing on season 9 of the reality show Millionaire Matchmaker.
On the show, he went on a memorable date with The Hills star Stephanie Pratt. However, even though they apparently got along on his date, Jones ended up marrying someone else. While the TV star was not active on social media, fans took to the latest Instagram post of him to express their condolences, with one person writing “RIP” along with a heart emoji.
The profit star Marcus Lemonis took a 40% stake in the company for $ 400,000 at the end of the episode with Flex.
The company also had a integration with MTV’s The real world in season 26. According to Lubinsky, he dedicated himself to raising awareness about suicide prevention. Lubinsky has created a GoFundMe page for Jones’s wife and daughter. On that page it says: “Trevor was the type of person who made an impression on the world without even trying. He was sincere, generous, funny and always tried to give back. ”
