Tom Cruise continues his journey to become America’s most handsome stuntman in a limited-time delivered video that shows him hooked onto a plane hurtling toward earth. The video was used to introduce “Top Gun: Maverick” at CinemaCon in April, then, at the time, was shared electronically last weekend, according to EW.
Journey adds that he was “making this movie for the big screen” before “hipster” writer Christopher McQuarrie shows up near him in an alternate biplane. McQuarrie facilitated the last two “Mission: Impossible” films and is directing the next two: “Dead Reckoning Part One” and “Segment Two.”
The video shows Cruise standing up and training viewers to have a “terrific summer” before the two biplanes swerve and scream toward the ground. The sweat-start movie was posted via an online game by a couple of people over the weekend, including Stephen Ford, an artist and boss.

It topped $700 million in local entertainment at the end of last week to become the fifth-highest-grossing film in US history, as The Wrap shows.

The ethereal new video clearly separates itself from a more grounded shot of Cruise and McQuarrie in 2018, in which the pair urge people to reset their televisions to disable development smoothing. Regarding Cruise’s tireless quest to outdo himself with every stunt, his co-star Simon Pegg said he was stunned and worried.
