The lovely lady and her husband shared their emotional journey with cancer in 2013 and visited breast cancer patients at Methodist Hospital.
Theresa’s husband revealed during a press conference in 2010 that his family has been a rock to him. He also thanked her for always being by his side after everything they have been together, following every move Greg has made, and supporting him in everything he has asked him to do during his coaching career.

“Guys, we have to stick together,” he said. “We need both feet in. I need everyone to stay on the plantation. I cannot allow anyone to leave the plantation. ”

The 56-year-old called the 77-69 loss “emotionally tough” and wrote that he “immediately recognized my egregious mistake”, addressing the team in his words “quickly.”
“I have never used that analogy and it is not indicative of who I am as a person or as a coach,” McDermott wrote. “I am deeply sorry. I have apologized to our student-athletes and staff, as well as to the President [Rev. Daniel] Hendrickson and athletic director Bruce Rasmussen.
“Over the past 72 hours, I have engaged in multiple difficult conversations with student-athletes, staff, parents, and University administrators and I realize the pain my words have caused. For that, I sincerely apologize.
