The report links some of Jeong’s resentment at having been a former doctor, combined with political views shared by people in Giuliani’s circle on the global health emergency and protective measures to stop the spread.

What we’re really contemplating is whether any of this in the spread will make The Masked Singer move away from the political figures on the show; there was a backlash to them casting Sarah Palin, and now part of that has expanded dramatically with Giuliani as a supposed cast member.

Is Fox happy with all this? They certainly have more people discussing the show, but how much will it encourage them to watch? We really contemplate if we’re starting to wander a bit beyond the “any show is a great show” claims we’ve heard before.
