In Walk 21, Gwyneth Paltrow went to court north of a 2016 Utah ski mishap that allegedly left optometrist Terry Sanderson, resigned, badly injured. According to People News, Terry Sanderson filed a claim against Gwyneth Paltrow in January 2019, alleging that the artist had caused an accident with him after skiing dangerously on the slopes. He also claimed that Paltrow forgot to take enough care of him after he got hurt.

According to Individuals News, Terry Sanderson first tried to sue Gwyneth Paltrow for $3.1 million. The designated authority, however, stated that he could not sue for more than $300,000 in this specific case. Gwyneth Paltrow is countersuing Terry Sanderson for the required $1 in fines and legal counsel fees.

According to Gwyneth Paltrow’s incident record, she was skiing with her teacher at the time. She claimed that after the impact, both she and her teacher were concerned about Sanderson, but concluded that her injuries were not significant.

Sanderson’s lawyers, however, say the resigned doctor suffered from four broken ribs and a terrible brain injury. As his LinkedIn profile indicates, Terry Sanderson is a former optometrist currently serving as a confidential practice specialist.

The 76-year-old specialist trained in Optometry at Pacific College. He then left by calling as a confidential optometrist in Soft Drink Springs, Utah. According to his LinkedIn page, he is currently in Salt Lake City. In 2010, he became president of Mission with a Dream, an association that supports patient care.

According to his lawyers, prior to his accident with Paltrow, Sanderson, 76, had been skiing for considerable time. He assured that after the mishap he suffered blackouts and changes in temperament and character, which he has attributed to a brain injury.

The claim claimed that the injuries were caused by some skiing foolishness on Paltrow’s part. He said:

“Gwyneth Paltrow skied wildly (…) to blows [Sanderson] he brought him down hard, pulling him out and causing a mental injury, four broken ribs, and other serious injuries. Paltrow got up, said goodbye and skied off, leaving Sanderson paralyzed, lying in the snow, truly damaged. In his statement, Paltrow claimed that he was consciously skiing at the time. She said:

Paltrow’s lawyers also asserted that Sanderson is misrepresenting her injuries. They realized that shortly after the mishap, she traveled to 10 different countries. Paltrow’s group also claimed that a significant number of Sanderson’s medical problems could be made sense by the fact that he is a senior resident.

The case is currently progressing. Both parties continue to assert that the other person was responsible for the accident.
