Throughout the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, he was a much needed bandit with various claims and convictions against him including kidnapping, assault, burglary and assault.
The Netflix story “Young lady In The Picture” begins with his relationship with Tonya Hughes, aka Sharon Marshall. Floyd had the opportunity to convince specialists that he was her dismal husband, Clarence Hughes, and the biological father of their child, Michael, when Hughes died in 1990.

Suzanne Sevakis was kidnapped and murdered Floyd had hijacked Sevakis as a child and raised him as his girlfriend before becoming his significant other. He then disappeared with Sevakis, her two sisters and their younger brother Philip, also known as Stevie. During this time, their mother was serving a 30-day prison sentence.
Chipman found two of her girls, Alison and Amy, under the watchful eye of a neighborhood church social worker, but Suzanne and Philip remained missing.

Likewise, Suzanne Sevakis’ biological brother remained lost until 2019 when he approached and underwent DNA testing, which confirmed that he was Philip Sevakis, the younger brother of Suzanne Marie Sevakis.
It took a long time to settle a case, including hijacking, secrecy and murder, only to conclude that Tonya Hughes was without a doubt Suzanne Marie Sevakis. She endured long periods of abuse from Floyd before being forced to marry him in 1989.
