Sonia Sharma was born on October 30, 1991 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. She is originally from Ishwarpuri, a place close to Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. Sonia graduated in reporting from the Asian Academy of Film and Television, Noida. She has also done studies on movie heads.

Sonia started her acting career with a long-winded TV show Crime Patrol Dastak in 2010. She later appeared in CID. She made her first leap forward in 2011 with Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, where she took on the role of Bhoomi.

Sonia took on the role of Sai Bai Bhosle, Shivaji’s first wife in the Indian authentic show series Veer Shivaji which aired on Colors TV. Sonia later appeared in recorded satire dramatization Tenali Rama as Maharani Chinnadevi, the first husband of King Krishnadev Raya.

In addition to TV, Sonia made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with the satire film Pagleaazam, coordinated by Vikas P Kavthekar and APS Raghuvanshi.

Sonia Sharma lived her childhood in Ishwarpuri, Uttar Pradesh. In addition to acting, Sonia has worked for Star News in the political field as well as working for Zee News as a crime correspondent. In 2019 she obtained her PhD as editor-in-chief of Aadhi Aabadi Magazine.

She has long marked on paper including Shoppers Stop, Monte Carlo, Wilss Lifestyle and many more. Sonia has appeared in Heroes Aired the Story of Neerja Bhanot (2012) and SuperCops Vs SuperVillains (2016). She cherishes travelling, shopping and watching movies. She is a lover of Lord Ganesh.
