Sonia Beeksma (original surname Sonia Mangat) works for CTV Morning Live in Vancouver as a traffic anchor and porter correspondent. A flexible telecaster with skill in facilitating traffic and weather clippings, news stories, style and distraction stories, brings her experience, mystique and love of entertainment to her new job as an ETALK correspondent.
Mangat is also a functioning supporter of local exercises and actions in the region and is a member of the directorate of Room to Read, a non-benefit organization dedicated to creating schools and libraries for young ladies in hapless countries. She also acts as an emcee for several charities across the country, including BC Children’s Hospital, the World Partnership Walk, the Strathcona Food Program and others.
