Birth and early life Shweta Basu Prasad was born on the eleventh of January 1991 to Anuj Prasad and Sarmistha Basu Prasad in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Her father is a course and acting graduate from the Shreeram Centre, New Delhi.
