Sherra Wright Emergency Call On July 19, 2010, shortly after noon, a gunshot emergency call came into a Tennessee police department from the radio of retired NBA player Lorenzen Wright.
Investigator Paul Hagerman told a jury Tuesday that Wright was taken to a street near a field by his ex and that another man was blamed for his murder. Gunshots erupted over the phone as Wright’s call arrived at the police department in suburban Memphis Germantown.
Wright’s death has become one of Memphis’ most notable murder cases. On July 28, 2010, his decaying body was found in a damp field in East Memphis, filled with snails, nine days after he called 911.
Hagerman argued that the Germantown police failed to return to the premonitioned distress call. As the investigator indicated, if given the chance, they would have found Wright’s body, as well as evidence left behind at the scene of the shooting, including a pistol, projectile cases and a blood-stained security barrier.

Sherra Wright pleaded guilty to murder charges Sherra Wright admitted she was charged with the murder, but she had recently denied any recording.
She even did video interviews for a show called Who Killed Lorenzen Wright, which at least can be seen on YouTube. When asked if she had a say in the murder of her significant other on the show, she didn’t say “no,” but rather chose an extended response.
When asked if she was involved in the murder, she said “from the start”. “If a matter of any importance, I am a husband, then, in that moment, a mother, finally, I am a creator.” The legal requirement should do everything within reach to find out who the executioner is.”
Billy Ray Turner has been charged with intent to murder Lorenzen Wright near Wright-Robinson. His preliminary investigation will therefore not start until October 2020. Sherra Wright-Robinson will not say anything to him, according to CNN.
