Sangram, for the first 8 years of his life, was confined to a wheelchair because he suffered from rheumatoid joint pain. He battled the problem through yoga and naturopathy and made a full recovery by his mid-teens. In the latter part of the 1990s, he joined the Delhi Police and won a ‘Bronze’ award for the association at the All India Police Games in 2005.

In April 2015, he and his life partner Payal Rohatgi had participated in Nach Baliye 7, the seventh version of the famous unscripted TV show based on ruthless dance Nach Baliye. They were the fifth group to be eliminated in the 13-group rivalry. The couple had also served as a brand representative for the New Delhi-based NGO International Human Rights Organization (IHRO) and was part of its Aware India for Health and Education crusade.

During the 2010s, Sangram had gained the freedom to make a biopic about the existence of the incredible fighter KD Jadhav, who had won the top individual Olympic decoration for self-governing India in 1952.

A donor, he has partnered with some charities across India and is said to have taken on the responsibility of educating over 150 downtrodden and also stranded children. He too has sworn each of his organs as a gift. In March 2016, he submitted his SGXbySangramSingh sportswear range in Delhi at FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India). In the same year, a part of his life project was remembered in Hindi textbooks for children considering seventh grade.

On International Yoga Day 2016, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homeopathy) service of Government of India and NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) welcomed him as a respectable visitor to wake up young people by sharing their biography and discussing the benefits of yoga.
