Conrad was seen dead in his Ford 250 truck and the reason of death was suffocation from inhaling deadly carbon monoxide. He was found on July 13, 2014, outside the KMart store in Fairhaven. He said he noticed Conrad brought a generator and asked if there was a way to kill himself using a generator and some gadgets.

Carter also told Samantha that she could do more to stop Conrad that day, but tragically she didn’t.  Samantha Boardman lives happily and in her school life from now on, while Carter was sentenced to 15 months at first. Carter was charged as a teenager when she was brought to court for her rapes, but she was still a minor when it happened.
