Sam Curran is a left-handed batsman and medium-fast left-arm bowler. In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, he was bought by Chennai Super King at Rs 5.5 crore.

Samuel Matthew Curran was born on June 3, 1998 in Northampton, England. His father’s name is Kevin Malcolm Curran and his mother is Sarah Curran. He finished tutoring him at Springvale House, Marondera and St. George’s Harare School and Wellington College, Berkshire. Sam Curran’s age is 22 years old (as in 2020). Sam scored fastest 50s in just 23 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2019. In the last few matches of IPL 2019, he didn’t perform well that’s why Kings XI Punjab gave him away before IPL 2020 sale.

At IPL 2020, Sam Curran was bought by Chennai Super King for Rs 5.5 crore after he said in a video that he is eager to win from MS Dhoni and his mentor Stephen Fleming.
