The news that Riverdale actor Ryan Grantham will kill his mother in 2020 horrified the entire nation. Even more shocking is the fact that the young man had great promise in the field and yet committed such a horrible crime. Since 2007, Ryan has appeared in numerous well-known TV shows and movies.
Among his best known works are “Riverdale”, “Unspeakable”, “Perfect High”, “iZombie”, “Way of the Wicked” and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”.
In 2010, the two young actors appeared together in the film “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. Since Ryan had a small role as Rodney James and Zachary Gordon had the key role of Greg Heffley, they became friends while filming, according to Ryan’s IMDb.
Since “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” returned for two additional films, the scene showing Rodney auditioning for a theater group has become well known among moviegoers.

Ryan shot Barbara Waite, his mother, in the back of the head on March 31, 2020, while she was practicing piano at their Squamish home. Because Ryan has a horrible mindset, she and her aunt have been outspoken about their fear of his release. In June 2022, the Goblin actor admitted to second-degree murder.
