Pole Marsh was an expert Australian cricketer who played as a wicketkeeper for the Australian public pool. He was born on November 4, 1947 and died on March 4, 2022, at the age of 74. Bog had a trial career which spanned from 1970-71 to the Australian seasons of 1983-84. In 96 Tests, he set an overall best of 355 dismissals for wicketkeeping, a comparable number that his Western Australian speed bowling partner in crime, Dennis Lillee, achieved on the ball.
The pair were known for their bowler and wicketkeeper partnership, which produced 95 test wickets, a record for any such combination. They made their Test debut in a comparable series and left Test cricket in a comparative match. Wisden reported that “some relationship between the bowler and the wicket-keeper influences the game.”
Swamp got off to a troubled start to his test call, chosen for the temperance of his batting limits. Swamp was airlifted from Bundaberg to Royal Adelaide Hospital recently after experiencing significant cardiovascular failure last Thursday. He remained in an incited unconsciousness until his death.
