The 5-foot-6 lineman was participating in the school’s intramural summer sports program when the incident occurred. He had just been outside for about four minutes, according to authorities, when he started having heart problems.

According to the family, he had no history of heart disease and had recently started playing soccer in addition to other physical activities such as bicycling and walking to improve his general health.

Robert’s cousin, Joshua Bush, expressed concern about the safety requirements of the training program. Joshua, who works as an athletic trainer, stressed the importance of having medical personnel available to protect the safety of students as they participate in physical activities such as conditioning.

Robert Bush was adopted by Robert and Patricia Bush. Unfortunately, Robert’s mother, Patricia, died in 2017 due to cancer. Currently, his father, Robert, is facing serious medical problems, Newsday reports.
