His adventure began in 1985 when he began studying American Kenpo karate under the instruction of his father, Frank Daniels. During his high school years, Daniels had to assume the role of a single parent.

Daniels joined the Long Beach Police Department when he was 21 years old, determined to establish a better future for himself and his kid. After nearly seven years in law enforcement, Daniels chose to quit and concentrate on his martial arts profession. Daniels began as a youth competitor in sport karate and swiftly rose to top-tier status in the NBL and N.A.S.K.A. by the age of 19. His accomplishments include eight N.B.L. World Championships, many N.A.S.K.A. World Championships, and a second-place performance in the $50,000 World Pro Taekwondo Championship.

Sage began practicing at the age of four under the supervision of his father, and he went on to win an incredible 77 World Titles throughout his childhood. In 2012, Sage Northcutt was also inducted into the Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame.
