When Rambha was in the seventh grade, she had portrayed the persona of Ammavaru (Mother Goddess) in a play at her school’s annual daily work.

As it happens, the occasion was attended by a veteran film director named Hariharan. As he was dazzled by Rambha’s display, he had asked his parents to keep in touch with him.

Hariharan had then cast her in the role of Thangamani, the female lead, in the 1992 Malayalam film Sargam. She was around 16 years old when the film was delivered.

At first she took the screen name ‘Amrutha’, which she later changed to ‘Rambha’ after the name of the person she had portrayed in her debut Telugu film Aa Okkati Adakku (1992).

The last option movie had performed well in the world of cinema which helped her in getting some movie deals from various worlds of entertainment across India.

In 2003, he had tried to start a vocation as a filmmaker. He had co-produced, with his brother, a Tamil-language activity experience film called Three Roses (2003).

He also co-starred in the film, alongside Jyothika and Laila. The film had taken siege in the cinematic world after which Rambha had fallen forcefully into obligation.

He had to sell his house on Mount Road in Chennai to meet each of his obligations.

Around this time, she was also associated with a situation where a claim was filed against her because she had skipped a check she had given to one of the film’s agents.

After their marriage in 2010, she stopped pretending to act in movies and moved to Toronto with him.

This was brought about by the absence of meaningful work for artists of his age in Indian films, in all businesses, at the time, as well as a yearning to focus on everyday life.
