I found the disputes that they had, I lived with Elvis trying to control him, I would have preferred not to do the movies with all the young women and the coasts and everything, that I really expected to do serious things. In this way, living that, with him and seeing the film, brought back many memories.”
Elvis and Priscilla were married for an extensive period of time during the height of their reputation. According to Priscilla, Elvis hoped to elevate his vocation beyond music and enter as a serious artist.
