It wasn’t long after the exams that people took notice of Paul’s effort to pull off the ideal homicide. Rare markings were found on Tina’s neck which turned the spotlight on her partner.
The jury told of the Longworths’ tempestuous marriage through gossip from the Southport Sailing Club on Merseyside, which was a major part of the couple’s public activity.
The couple had been in trouble for 7 years of life respectively. Paul had conceded to one of his companions who had hit his partner. In fact, Tina had blamed Paul for assaulting her multiple times.
Also, Tina started a problem with a neighborhood firefighter, Gary Silcock. As indicated by Gary, Tina met him for the same reason he met her: things weren’t comfortable. She also said that she would have preferred not to hurt Paul and that she had no desire to leave the children.
