Pamela Brown is an American television reporter and newscaster. Brown works as a senior White House Correspondent for CNN. She formerly worked for ABC Washington, D.C., affiliate WJLA-TV. Brown occasionally provided the lead-in to “Politico’s Video Playback”—a daily recap of the previous night’s U.S. late-night talk shows.

Previously, Brown served as CNN’s Justice and Supreme Court correspondent covering law enforcement, as well as issues related to the Department of Justice and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Prior to moving to the Department of Justice and the U.S. Supreme Court, Brown was a national correspondent reporting on a variety of topics for the network and contributed to CNN’s morning program, New Day. She joined CNN in 2013.

Pamela Ashley Brown is the daughter of former Kentucky Gov. John Y. Brown Jr. and former sportscaster and Miss America Phyllis George. She is the granddaughter of politician John Y. Brown Sr. and the half-sister of former Kentucky Secretary of State John Y. Brown, III.
