Who is Pam Hupp? Born on October 10, 1958, the third of four children born to Victor (a conference man) and Shirley Neumann (a teacher), Pamela Neumann Hupp grew up with a Catholic family in Dellwood, Missouri. For the most part, he did what was usually expected of him while still having fun, only to hook up with her high school sweetheart shortly after graduation and thus welcome a girl into the lives of her. However, the relationship only lasted six years, after which Pam continued with Mark Hupp, with whom she not only lived in Florida before settling in O’Fallon, Missouri in 2001, but she also shares a son with.

Back in her home state, Pam switched houses as an afterthought while serving as the head of State Farm Insurance, which is where she initially passed for Elizabeth “Betsy” Faria. Russ had allegedly instructed him to kidnap her, take her to her bank to recover her money, and then kill her, a story the agents did not accept. In fact, they thought Pam staged the event to get away from the questions that had previously swirled around her, which is why she was caught and charged with murder and felonious activity seven days after the fact.

That same day, August 23, Pam asked to use the bathroom after being booked, where she used a pen to cut her own neck and wrists in a clear attempt at self-destruction. Her activities were considered an obvious indicator of guilt by authorities, prompting her bail to be set at $2 million, with investigators later explaining that they would seek capital punishment. To prevent that, Pam maintained her innocence by filing an Alford plea before her preliminary trial could begin, and therefore she was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in August 2019. .

Once again with this case, the death of Shirley Neumann in 2013 was investigated, focusing on the likelihood that Pam might have been responsible for her mother’s fall from the third-floor overhang that ended her life. That’s because Shirley, who suffered from dementia and joint inflammation, had several times the standard dose of a narcotic in her body, at which point tests proved to be shaky.

Then, at that time, in July 2021, following additional evidence, Pam was charged with outfitted felon activity and first-degree murder in association with Betsy’s involuntary manslaughter, the previous of which she was excused in September. So today, at age 63, Pam awaits a preliminary trial while she remains incarcerated at the mixed-security Chillicothe Correctional Center for women in Livingston County, Missouri.
