She is also highly regarded as the lead artist and guitarist of the American all-female carport goth musical crew called The Black Belles, which was formed in 2009 in Nashville. The meeting had resulted in a self-proclaimed collection in 2011.

She started composing and recording music at a young age after being enlivened by the exciting Detroit music scene. She was given her first guitar as a gift when she was 7 years old and it wasn’t long before she learned how to play different instruments with the aim of recording her music.

Her early records consisted mainly of surf instrumental melodies propelled by rock artists. Olivia was found by a prominent recording artist and her future husband, Jack White, after he got a demo from her accounts at a melodic show in Detroit.

In 2009, she had been encouraged to record tunes with Third Man Records (an autonomous record name founded by Jack) in Nashville. Jack and the name had helped her record a few melodies that would later be provided by The Black Belles, an American all-female carport goth musical gang of which Olivia made a section.

After The Black Belles made progress in the studio, they chose to become a band. Jack took the band to Third Man Records and delivered some of their singles as well as their introductory self-proclaimed collection which was delivered on October 8, 2011.
