a Nigerian musical sensation who was born and raised in Ojuelegba, Lagos, has found that his childhood there helped structure who he is today. In a proclamation made during a discussion with Olugbenga Agboola, CEO of Flutterwave, who asked about his melodic way and where it all started.
Wizkid is a brand diplomat of Flutterwave, a provider of installment payment services in the financial innovation industry. The Grammy-winning artist said it was a difficult area to grow up in as a child as he reviewed his initial calling in the music industry while in Ojuelegba.
The CEO of Starboy Entertainment said that he generally wanted to make music and spread it beyond Lagos. He added that due to his situation, he was constantly expected to expose his credibility with key figures in the business.
Wiz stated that it is just beginning and moving forward is the only option since they were granted. Olamide Adedeji, a rapper from Nigeria, has said that his coordinated effort with Wizkid supported him in the beginning of his vocation.
The YBNL pioneer made the comment while reminiscing about their friendly partnership at a gathering at Apple Music Africa. Olamide assured that Wizkid and their former leader, Banky W, the creator of EME, supported him at the time of their collaboration since he left his record label, Coded Tunes.
The vocalist of “Wo” assures that the association gave him a benefit and simplified everything in the business.
As you may remember, Big Wiz and Baddo worked together on the tune “Omo Toh Shan” when he recently left Coded Tunes.
